Alternates will be chosen in the order of when they registered on a “first come first serve” basis. Registration closes Thursday at midnight for this event. As an alternate, you will be notified Saturday once registration closes (via phone call) if a spot is available for you to race. Even if you are an alternate you may check in on site at the registration tent Saturday from 10AM to 4PM. All alternates must be registered and checked in by 8AM on the day of the event. This is due to timing and scoring restrictions, administrative restrictions, and rider safety.
Here is what to expect at the registration check in, which occurs on Saturday, February 15th, 2020;
All riders must check in at registration on Saturday between 10AM to 4PM. You do NOT need your bike to check in. The last four digits of the frame number of the bike you plan to race will be required. You can log onto your account to update your frame number or you can update it on the kiosk at registration on Saturday. If the rider is under the age of 18, a parent/guardian will need to accompany the minor throughout the Registration process. The parent/guardian MUST sign the release forms and remain present with the minor all day. Also, the parent/guardian must present a valid driver’s license or valid photo ID. NO EXCEPTIONS.
IF a rider is attending without his or her parent/guardian, then the parent/guardian must:
· Download and complete the legal parental confirmation and minor release waiver (found on our website: https://cdn.supercrosslive.com/s3fs-public/ParentalConfirmationAgreement%20SXF%202020.pdf )
· The rider must then bring the completed forms to registration on Saturday
Registration will be located off of N. Himes Ave in LOT 4. Please refer to the venue maps and locations of registration. Be sure to keep an eye out for the signs that say SUPERCROSS FUTURES REGISTRATION, pointing you in the right direction.
There will be limited overnight parking on Saturday at first come first serve basis for competitors in LOT 4. Please refer to the venue map to verify the parking area. For anyone who does not get a spot in LOT 4, there will be an overflow lot will be LOT 8 located off of N. Himes Ave.
First, you will need to rent a transponder. Rentals are $10 for the day, plus $100 deposit which you can pay cash or on a major credit card. Transponders must be returned at the end of the weekend to avoid any penalty fees. If you own a MyLaps transponder, you will still need to register your transponder to be scored at the event. If you are planning on using your own MyLaps transponder, we recommend bringing your transponder to registration. Our transponder professionals can check your MyLaps transponder to make sure it is valid and working. If your personal transponder fails to work at the event, you will be required to rent one for the day.
To expedite your check in process, please be sure your AMA membership is current on the day of the event. If you need to look up, renew or purchase an AMA membership, you will be able to do so onsite.
You will then move onto our kiosk station where you will swipe your AMA card or manually enter your Supercross Futures registration account to verify the classes you are pre-entered for. At this point, you can add any additional classes, pending you are eligible to race in the additional class. You will also input your frame number of the motorcycle(s) you will be competing on. Once reviewed and confirmed, a receipt will print which you will then take to the Registrar and Event release station. Sign the electronic event release, pay for additional classes added, receive your rider wristband, your practice sticker(s) and mechanic credential voucher (if your mechanic isn’t immediately available to purchase their wristband).
Give this voucher to your mechanic- this allows them to purchase a mechanics wristband at the Mechanic Band station for $30.00. Every mechanic must be 16 years of age or older. Each rider is allowed one mechanic to accompany them to the starting gate and stand in the designated mechanic’s area during their race.
Sunday spectator tickets will also be sold in Registration on Saturday. The ticket allows access to the pits and the spectator seating within the venue for Sunday only. You can also purchase spectator tickets at the box office on Sunday morning.
If you do not plan to park overnight, please remove your vehicle as soon as you finish with registration.
