Ken Roczen returned to a Supercross race for the first time on Saturday after suffering a severe arm injury in January.
Roczen appeared to be unbeatable at the start of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross season, winning the first two rounds in dominant fashion. But the dream start turned to a nightmare following a hard crash at the third round at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, on Jan. 21. Roczen was left with a dislocated wrist, dislocated elbow and compound fracture to his radius.
Two months and nine surgeries later, Roczen was back at Daytona International Speedway this weekend for the Daytona Supercross by Honda. While he was not able to get back on the bike, Roczen did join Ralph Sheheen in the booth to discuss the status of his injury and recovery.
