Since the East Rutherford competition is more than a week away (April 27), competitors will have some extra time to figure out the best course to a podium finish with the latest Yamaha Track Map.
The one-week break may come at the right time for those planning a charge to the season finale in Las Vegas. Point races continue to be strong with the lion’s share of attention coming at the top of the 450 SX standings. Eli Tomac’s back-to-back wins have cut into Cooper Webb’s lead, but Webb has had respectable finishes and that has built a little comfort into the pressure. It will be decided on the track in the next two outings. Good performance at East Rutherford remains the objective for anyone who wants to make a move late.
