Endurance athlete, bowhunter, author, and nationally recognized podcast personality Cameron Hanes has been named the official Grand Marshal for Round 6 of the Monster Energy SMX World ChampionshipTM taking place this Saturday, February 14 at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.
Hanes, best known as a world-renowned bowhunter, is equally famous for his endurance feats, book authorship, and Keep Hammering Collective podcast. Originally hailing from the Pacific Northwest and Eugene, Oregon specifically, Hanes is no stranger to Seattle and a perfect fit for welcoming Supercross back to Seattle on the heels of the Seahawks’ Super Bowl LX victory.

Hanes was a special guest at last year’s Supercross event in Seattle where he was first introduced to the sport. Since then, Hanes has hosted several Supercross athletes and industry personalities on his show and served as the Grand Marshal for the Washougal National last summer in Washougal, Washington.

Hanes will play an integral role in opening ceremonies, appear on both the pre-race Race Day Live show and Peacock broadcast, plus deliver the customary “gentleman start your engines” heard famously at motorsports events. Cameron will also wave the green flag for the official start of the premier 450SMX Class Main Event. FanFest and Qualifying kick off at Lumen Field at 9:00 a.m., with opening ceremonies starting at 3:30 p.m. and racing at 4:00 p.m. PT. Tickets can be purchased at SupercrossLIVE.
