Nothing says “legendary” like 1.8 million You Tube video views! The 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross an FIM World Championship came down to the final round in Las Vegas between Eli Tomac and Ryan Dungey. The two had battled hard throughout the second half of the championship with the red plate bouncing back and forth. Tomac made a mistake at the next to the last round in East Rutherford, NJ. Eli had taken control of the red plate at the time, but crashed and finished in 8th place while Dungey took the win. The result was a nine point spread heading into the 2017 Las Vegas Finals. The 450SX main event would be crazy. Dungey and Tomac would bang into each other and the capacity crowd was whipped into an extremely loud frenzy! In the end, Jason Anderson took the win while Tomac finished 2nd and Dungey 4th which was good enough to wrap up the championship. This is highly regarded as one of the most prolific moments in Monster Energy Supercross history.
