McElrath remained with Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM for sophomore season and raced the 250SX Western Regional Championships alongside teammate Alex Martin.
2019 Season Recap:
Starting the season with two consecutive third-place finishes in the opening two rounds of the 2019 250SX championship, McElrath’s 3-2-1 score during Anaheim Triple Crown race (Round 3) landed him his first 250SX Class victory of the season. An injury mid-season preventing him from fighting for the title, but he was able to make the 450SX Main Event at Daytona.
