Alex Ray entered as a privateer, but it wasn't long before he earned himself a fill-in ride with the CycleTrader.com/Rock River Yamaha team. The Tennessee native finished a season best of 16th at the round at Las Vegas.
2019 Season Recap:
In 2019, Ray was a premier 450SX Class rider on the 3-athlete H.E.P. Motorsports Suzuki squad. After suffering a setback in the form of a broken back at the 2018 Monster Energy Cup, Ray had been training intensely on his new motorcycle. Yet the best result he could manage during the season was 15th at Denver and Las Vegas.
