2022 Season Recap: 2022 was incredibly strong for Sexton and Team Honda HRC, finishing 6th in his second Supercross season as a premiere 450SX Class rider. Sexton’s Supercross season was highlighted by seven podium finishes and his first career 450SX Class race win at Round 3 in San Diego. Sexton really found his stride on the Honda CRF450R during the Pro Motocross season where finished second in the season standing behind Eli Tomac in one of the closest season ending finishes in Pro Motocross history. Sexton finished off the podium only once in the 12 race series and claimed six overall race wins. Sexton topped off his best season to date by winning the Motocross of Nations for Team USA alongside teammates Eli Tomac and Justin Cooper.
2023 Season Outlook: Sexton is heading into 2023 on the final year of his Honda contract while being Honda’s number one guy with the departure of Ken Roczen. Sexton will look to lead Honda to its first premiere class Supercross title in 10 years, and he is well positioned to do it. Fans can look forward to watching the sports rising star battle with the defending champion and one of the best to ever do it, Eli Tomac.
